NES reviews-

Tennis: A primitive Tennis2K2? nope. gameplay is as bland as the name of this title. The erratic control can make manuvering and hitting that little pixel ball a chore. For some reason Nintendo wanted to simulate actual tennis rules. thats was good for the tennis faithful (of 84) but this bit of relisim results in matches dragging on way too long. Despite all the gripes..the game is still fun in a "nerve-grating cant put it down" kind of way. overall score: 7.5

ExciteBike: Vroom...vroom... .. ..Your dirt bike reeving is the only sound you hear in EB..(and that catchy title screen music) but the real catch and addiction of this game is doing massive bunny-hops over ramps and navigating challenging race courses, using the innovative turbo acceleration which can cook your engine if you are reckless and overheat it forces you to take a few preshious seconds to cool your steamed bike. And they even put in a cleverly-desgined custom track making mode..which grants EC damn near infinite replay value. Simple and almost as addictive as tetris. ExciteBike is an instant classic.
