Bantam A1631 Triple Jeopardy FAIR
Triple Jeopardy
By Rex Stout
Three Nero Wolfe novellas (novellae?), each originally published in American Magazine in 1951 or 1952:
-
HOME TO ROOST (Nero Wolfe and the Communist Killer)
Somebody at the dinner table dropped a poison pellet into the vitamin addict's pill-box.
-
THE COP-KILLER
The Murdered cop carried the clue inside his folded newspaper.
-
THE SQUIRT AND THE MONKEY (See No Evil)
The monkey was the only witness to the murder, and all it cold do was gibber. It would take a Nero Wolfe to extract information from "e-e-e-e-e-e-eeh."
First paperback printing, 1957. A well-worn copy, Cover is clean with a long dogear at the top. Dirt visible on spine and back cover. Pages are tan. There is just a hint of a musty smell. Binding is tight.
